National College Students for Life

Since the Roe v. Wade decision was handed down, abortion has claimed the lives of over 40 million unborn children. We are the first generation of survivors. We are the ones that escaped death by legal abortion. Moreover, 40 percent of all abortions are performed on women our age. Thus, we are most affected by the abortion scourge and can be the most effective voice on behalf of the unborn.

National College Students for Life an outreach of the National Right to Life Committee. Our charge is to fight the culture of death that pervades our society. We firmly believe that this generation - the generation most directly affected by abortion - can be a powerful voice in service of unborn children. We are working to guarantee that the future leaders of America will hold firm to the conviction that all human life is valuable and worthy of protection.

NCSL gratefully accept the privilege to right the wrong done to our brothers and sisters - to put an end to abortion on demand. We are the CHILDREN OF ROE - the "abortion generation." We are fighting back to ensure that our children and our children's children will have a brighter future.

National College Students for Life is a student-run, official youth outreach of the National Right to Life Committee. NCSL is dedicated to educating our college communities to the value of human life, instilling respect for the individual lives of all people, and creating a society that will offer life-affirming solutions to the plagues of abortion, infanticide and euthanasia. Pro-life students often provide the only positive voice a pregnant woman hears on a college campus - a voice to remind her she doesn't have to abort her child and that there are alternatives.

Collegians can make a difference on their campuses:

  • Work with pro-life pregnancy services in their area. Know their names and phone numbers and help post on high visibility areas on campus.

  • Organize drives to collect baby items, groceries, money for emergency pregnancy services and donate to local pro-life agencies.

  • Recruit pro-lifers at campus activities, circulate a sign-up sheet.

  • Register to vote and vote for pro-life candidates.

  • Join a group and attend the Walk for Life in Lincoln every January.

  • Join a group and attend the March for Life in Washington, D.C. in January.

  • Write letters to the editor of campus and local papers.

  • Monitor what the student government does with its funds. Do they fund student abortions or pro-abortion groups on campus?

  • Peacefully protest at abortion clinics. Join a prayer vigil at the clinic.

  • Check to see what books and information your school has on abortion, infanticide, euthanasia and other life topics.

  • Nebraska Right to Life can provide speakers, videos, and literature.

Join with thousands of your peers and take a stand for life!

Internship Program

Every year Nebraska Right to Life offers college students the opportunity to work in Lincoln, as an intern in one of the NRL departments. The internship provides participants with the background they need to go back to their schools to fight the pervasive pro-abortion mentality found on most campuses today.
